EAST BANK STORAGE HAS JOINED EFFORTS WITH DONATE A PHONE "CALL TO PROTECT"! It is a national wireless phone collection drive designed to provide domestic violence victims and organizations with one of the most powerful tools in the fight against domestic violence…a wireless phone. Through this program, old cell phones are collected, refurbished and preprogrammed with emergency numbers. They are then distributed to abused women, through domestic-violence and law-enforcement agencies nationwide, allowing them to call for help day or night.

EAST BANK STORAGE IS ASKING CELL PHONE USERS TO ANSWER THE CALL AND TURN IN THEIR USED CELL PHONES! Any portable cellular or PCS phones are accepted, excluding bag phones or vehicle-installed models. Any accessories (chargers, battery, etc.) included with your donation are always a PLUS! If your phone is old or does not work, you can still donate it! We will accept all hand-carried wireless phones. They will do their best to refurbish the phones and any phones that can't be fixed will be sold with proceeds used to support the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and other domestic violence programs.

How to Help

It's so easy! Dig out that wireless cell phone that you're no longer using (the one that is sitting in your drawer or closet) and bring it in to any of our convenient EAST BANK STORAGE locations. Deposit it into our drop-off box, take your tax deductible receipt and your done! You could literally save the life of one of the 5000+ victims who are beaten and abused everyday! (Please remember once again that any accessories included with your donation help!) Do not forget to deactivate your phone's service prior to donating it.
